Purpose: Liquefied petroleum gas – LPG tanks are used to store liquefied petroleum gas (propane, butane, or their mixture) in smaller industrial plants, and smaller or individual residential units in the heating system. They can be for underground or above-ground installation.

Technical characteristics: LPG tanks are made by welding from fine-grained structural carbon steel. The shape, main dimensions, and quality of these tanks are in accordance with the standard SRPS EN 12542. The tanks are delivered in the standard version with all necessary connections that correspond to the general purpose of the tank. According to the customer’s request, it is possible to make a different arrangement of connections using a delivered drawing of the customer. The tanks are delivered painted, in accordance with the current regulations for LPG storage.

LPG tanks

Purpose: Liquefied petroleum gas – LPG tanks are used to store liquefied petroleum gas that serves as fuel or for other purposes in the process industry. Underground storage tanks for LPG are mainly used in stations to supply motor vehicles with liquefied petroleum gas, in power plants, or propane and butane filling stations.

Technical characteristics: LPG tanks are made of fine-grained structural carbon steel by welding. The shape, main dimensions, and quality of these tanks are in accordance with the standard SRPS EN 13445-3.

Metal service manholes are also available upon special order. According to the customer’s request, it is possible to make a different arrangement of connections than the one on the standard version. On request, the tanks are delivered waterproofed, according to regulations for LPG storage in underground tanks.
